The Ø15 mm orbit and the RUPES Ø125 mm backing pad make the random orbital polisher particularly suitable for curved surfaces. The 15mm orbit of the LHR 15ES, shorter than that of its big brother the LHR 21ES, is coupled with a higher rpm level than that of the LHR 21ES. This higher speed gives the LHR 15ES equivalent cutting power to the LHR 21ES, in spite of the smaller orbit.     HR81ML/LUX iBrid Nano Long Neck

    More the possibility be configured with 3 different functional movements including 3mm random orbital, 12mm random orbital, and rotary.

    Those movements can then be coupled with a variety of backing plates and brush attachments for various tasks.  Orbital movement, rotary movement, polishing, sanding, cleaning, all-in-one compact easy to use system.

    The use of microabrasive discs to correct severe defects creates a surface that is easily polished, radically reducing the overall time of the full correction process. Duetto is so well balanced and low in vibration that the operator can easily control the sanding step by simply guiding duetto over the surface. The ability of the operator to control the tool so efficiently minimizes the chances of creating rough and uneven surfaces that require time-consuming rework.
    Duetto has several design features that make it uniquely operator friendly.

    The anti-spinning device reduces the chances of operator error even for a novice technician. The front hand grip allows the operator to place his/her hand at the virtual balance center of the tool and keeps vibration to a minimum.
    The electronic module has built-in torque control, reducing the need for the operator to apply significant downward vertical pressure. Another unique duetto feature is the rubber support that allows the operator to place duetto on a workbench without the abrasive disc touching a surface that might contain contaminants that could transfer to the workpiece during the sanding process. Compatible with microabrasive discs and the appropriate 5” interface pad

    RANDOM ORBITAL: the backing plate follows an orbit (the amplitude of which depends on the distance between the rotation axis of the drive shaft and the central axis of the backing plate) and is free to rotate about its own central axis. The backing plate is free to rotate at varying velocities and directions by effect of the centrifugal force of the offset movement and by effect of friction. Should the friction forces be such as to prevent rotation of the disc while the tool is still operating, the random orbital movement would simply become an orbital movement. The number of disc rotations is variable and independent of the number of orbits performed. The random orbital movement is at present the best compromise in terms of effectiveness and surface treatment quality.

    ANTISPINNING SHROUD
    The dual function antispinning shroud is designed to protect the operator against the moving parts and act as a clutch for the backing pad, preventing further stress on the foam polishing pad when it is not in direct contact with the surface.

     

    ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL MODULE
    The speed controller on the handle is both practical and easy to use. The speed of the polisher can also be regulated during use, thus avoiding any interruption of the polishing operation

    ON-OFF SWITCH LOCK
    Pressing the button on the LEFT-hand side of the handgrip while polishing locks the on-off switch. This allows the operator to move his/her hands freely to different gripping positions while the tool is operating.

    LHR12E DUETTO

    Extensive research on random orbital dynamics and exhaustive testing resulted in the choice of a 12mm orbit for Duetto.

    This orbit length greatly improves the surface rectification abilities of the latest generation of microabrasive discs. The combination of duetto and microabrasives is especially effective when smoothing orange peel or significant defects. The finish generated by this combination is both homogeneous and predictable, with no deep sanding marks.

    ON-OFF SWITCH LOCK
    Lined in non-slip rubber, the on/off lever of the BigFoot polisher ensures a controlled soft start, giving the operator full control over the tool.

    MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY
    Thanks to the backing pad with small diameter, the LHR 75E is perfect in polishing applications on small and intricate areas. The small machine dimensions and the 12mm orbit allow a comfortable handling and accuracy in detail polishing.
